Tribute to my Grandpa 'Papaw'This is the reason, that I have had a reality check on what is important. People always say cherish every moment with people, because you dont know when it is going to be the last, and when all is fine, it seems cliche. When you loose someone so important to you. You realize that it is not. It puts everything in perspective, what is important is the ones who know you best and love you for who you are, flaws and all. The people who dont appreciate you, or critisize or chastize you for whatever their reasons in the grand scheme of things, no matter if it hurts or not... is unimportant.
Sometimes in life we get caught up with the impression aquaintences have of us, we give too much weight to what he says or she says. The only person that matters is you! Do you think you are a good person? Do you try your best to be the best person you can be? Do you love yourself? If you answer yes, then what others believe doesn't amt to a hill of beans. Dont ever let anyone lessen your value of yourself. You are important, you are loved, you are special, you are the only you that there is. Love you and don't sweat what anyone else thinks. Only you know your heart! Share your love and your heart with the ones that matter, your Mom, your Dad, Your husband, Your kids They are your legecy, they truely know your heart. I speak from experience, because as of late, I have let things and people get to me. Let them cause me to question myself. One of my favorite quotes "The only way someone can get to you, is if you let them" So don't! Stand strong, stay true to who you are, don't let people penetrate you negatively. (yes easier said than done) But when you waste time, analysing and worring over insignifigant people or things, you waste precious moments that could have been spent enjoying someone you love and when you turn around, they are gone and everything else doesnt matter... only that you didn't get to say goodbye.
